Beautifully said Jill! I am counting the days, 3 more shifts until Tubbataha! I love how in cold and warm water, light changes everything. In the shallows, the sun can just create a heavenly atmosphere while at depth a good flashlight just blows your mind with color! Light makes such a difference! In diving and in life!
Robert, I was just listening to a podcast about the “Crisis of masculinity”! I can imagine being a young man in today’s, sometimes toxic environment must be challenging! Self expectations and societal expectations seem unattainable. I always give lots of admiration and credit when I met a man that in spite all the influence and societal expectations to be a “man” is kind, gentle and manages to successfully navigate life without resorting to aggression and violence! I always appreciate your perspective!
