I love these tips. Did not even think about the temperature change ans dci risk if colder at end of time. My favourite garment is also the fourth element Arctic thermal layer. I laughed out loud at Roberts nuts and bolts gift comment. So funny. Great read !

Another excellent article - thanks for sharing your knowledge with us, Jill.

Robert, an interesting (and judicious) choice of topic. Expertly and tactfully written. And... timely given current events. Bravo.

And thinking about it... Funny to invite 'good people' to move to Canada while Jill writes about cold-water and ice diving... lol

I hope I don’t scare anyone away with reports of -34° last night. That is even cold for us!!

Michele: When I first met Jill and went to her house across from Ginnie Springs, I walked into her garage/shop and knew she was my kind of girl! "This is NOT a girl garage..." I said.

I chuckled out load at Robert's comment about "The way to some girl’s hearts is with..." Howard's favorite local (San Diego) store is Marshall's Hardware, and on-line he loves McMasterCarr.com.

Love all those tips for cold water! I use them religiously! I wish I would have taken some of that to the Bahamas last week! I could’ve used my drysuit there! I was freezing thanks to the Canadian front that hit us!

I hope it’s warmer today than it was yesterday for you guys!

Robert my wife loves nuts and bolts too. I used to work in a hardware store when I first moved to the States, didn’t know a nut from a bolt!

The process for nurses to get a license in Canada is very easy and streamlined!
