Just as Jill has readied herself and with tenacity, stubborness and her positive spirit, she'll come through with flying colours. The power of positive thinking is a great healing power, aided by all the caring/good thoughts we all have for her as well as your ability Richard to see her through this different kind of dive. All the best to both of you!
I am sending you lots of love and healing, Robert and Jill. Both your messages brought me tears. Your resilience, courage, and brilliance in the face of fear and the unknown, as well as your love and support for each other and this community is inspirational. <3 Ashley Bowes
We hold you both in our hearts! Jill I know you will have the best care possible, skilled and filled with love! I hope your recovery is without complications! Doing nothing is the hardest thing to do! May that cancer be gone, never to return and you back in full force! You are loved, so much!
Hi Jill, thoughts with you from Belinda and I. Look forward to hearing of your speedy recovery. All the best to you and Robert as you deal with this together!
I've been in both pairs of shoes of that kind of cancer struggle, yours and Robert's. Having seen it from both sides, all I can say is: You have the right attitude. Stay positive. Stay strong.
Since meeting in Tobermory last month, you have been on my mind a lot. Your courageous spirit has inspired me more than I can articulate. My family and I will be thinking about you and Robert this week, and sending all our love in the weeks ahead. You can do hard, scary-as-heck things, and you’ve got this. Big hugs from Szilvia’s sister 🩷
Wow! I remember when Linda was diagnosed with cancer it hit me like a ton of bricks. Over the long process of surgery, chemo, and radiation I was the total care giver and I know that Robert with be there with you. But also remember that the patient is the one being cared for by the doctors and all of your friends and family. But most forget the care giver and toll it take on him. I know that he is worried sick, so remember to pet him occasionally. Jill, I know you as a fighter and a wonderful person and I will be thinking of you and wishing you well from down south.
Yes indeed! Poor Robert is waiting again. He did want me to slow down, but this was not likely what he had in mind. We'll get through this and I feel very positive about the recovery.
You'll be back brighter and livelier than ever. And the post-op enforced rest will allow plenty of opportunity to memorise all of the lyrics to, "We are sailing. We are sailing ... " :-)
