I am grateful that I am personally ok, older wiser and more resources! But I remember when I was not, so need to speak up and be visible. 99%of the time my wife and I are the only queers on a dive boat so I know that it’s important that we are out! Specially now for our trans and gender fluid community!

Also thank you for supporting us queer folks! One of the things that most people don’t realize is when you are lgbtq+, most times, the first people who reject us, are our families. Through times of hardship and discrimination while we are tough because we had to be to survive, everytime we feel support from someone else, it gives us hope and makes us feel human and we have the courage to fight on, for the right to exist!
Hi Luca - I don't know if you are aware that Jill and I both have LGBTQ+ family - My older sister Patricia (who passed 2 years ago) was a pioneering queer rights advocate and was among the first of the same sex women to get married in New Jersey. Jill has trans and gender fluid loved ones. And of course we have many LGBTQ+ friends who enrich our lives. We see you. We honor you. Keep on rocking the world!
We will always be there to support you! Diversity, equity and inclusion build a just and exciting world. We are all made stronger by civil discourse and embracing a multitude of viewpoints and lived experiences.
